The gala benefits patients and families affected by cancer in Ascension Parish.
Annually, the Gonzales Area Foundation hosts a fundraising event known as The Gala. The event was paused for two years during the pandemic. While we missed gathering and celebrating, we share with great pleasure that, with your help and even without our annual event, GAF granted $160,000 to the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center between 2020 and 2021. Our total donations since 2016 have surpassed $1,000,000.
We want to thank the businesses and residents who make these events successful.
2023 Gonzales Gala: Gonzales Area Foundation Committee and Board Members.
The Gonzales Area Foundation is proud to present a check in the amount $125,000 to the Mary Bird Perkins Center in Gonzales from 2019 Gala.
Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center 2017 Cumulative Giving Wall Honoree presentation. The Gonzales Area Foundation now haw a tile on the cumulative giving wall located on the first floor of the Cancer Center.
